The Benjamin HugMee is a support band that is used immediately after the gentle section in the OR. The HugMee has been specially developed for the natural caesarean section (gentle section), supports the baby and provides warmth and uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact immediately after a caesarean section. The HugMee makes it possible for mother and child to stay together safely and provides undisturbed skin-to-skin contact immediately after birth. In the first stage postpartum the HugMee can also be used in a domestic setting.

Description

It is adjustable for every size which makes optimal positioning easier.
The baby is positioned warmly and securely with the mother.
Promotes Skin-to-Skin contact directly after birth.
Provides a safe transfer with mother from operating table to hospital bed.
Provides two openings for parents to be able to touch the baby.
A foot pouch provides safety and comfort for the baby.
The HugMee provides a recess to be able to reach the epidural.

Available in one size, fits all.
Also available with velcro.
The HugMee is made of an advanced technical fabric consisting of a mix of polyester and cotton. This fabric dries four times as fast as cotton, does not discolour or shrink and remains odour free.
Always consult the hospital’s hygiene department before cleaning the HugMee in the washing machine.
